Organisational changes in Raben Group structures

2023.07.04

Due to the dynamic development of the company on the European market, Raben Group announces personnel changes in the management board and top management structures on the Polish, Italian and Greek markets. These will come into force on 1 August 2023.

Janusz Anioł, who has been working for Raben Group since 1992 and for the last 18 years has held the position of the Managing Director and Vice President of Raben Logistics Polska, now moves to the Italian management structure as Regional Director Italy, replacing Wojciech Brzuska in this position, and will, together with the local management, focus on the further development of this market. It is worth noting that Janusz Anioł, together with his team, has developed Raben Logistics Polska into Poland's largest logistics operator and one of the leading logistics service providers in the CEE region.

“In logistics and at Raben, only one thing is constant and that is change. I have been with our Group for more than 30 years and during that time I have been able to participate in the strategic development of the company, been involved in the acquisition and implementation of new customers, restructuring, numerous investment projects, the creation of new depots or the implementation of technological innovations. Now it's time for another, this time a European assignment in Italy”. - says Janusz Anioł - “I would like to thank my team, customers and business partners of Raben Logistics Polska for all these years together - without you the success of the company would not be possible!”

The position of the Managing Director of Raben Logistics Polska will be taken over by Wojciech Szafran, who previously held the position of the Director of the Gądki Region at the company for 8 years.  Wojtek is a graduate of the Poznan University of Technology and an MBA student at the Poznan School of Logistics. All his professional life he has been associated with Raben Logistics Polska, where he started his student internship in 2004. Over the following years, he gained experience in the international distribution and sales departments, among others, successively developing and advancing his career.

“I was fortunate to meet people on my professional path who were willing to share their experience. It’s possible that this is what sets our company apart - we have People with Drive everywhere.  It’s true, however, that I wouldn’t be here if it hadn’t been for them, passionate people whose support, wisdom and inspiration were and are invaluable” - comments Wojciech Szafran. - “Together with the Team, we will continue to grow our company by introducing innovative solutions, improving processes and building a competitive advantage for our customers”.

In turn, Lucyna Zaborowska-Princ, who has been with Raben since 2017 and previously held the position of the Contract Logistics Director of the Gądki Region, becomes the new Director of the Gądki Region. She has gained experience managing different areas within the international supply chain, as well as initiating and leading innovative intra-company and sector-specific logistics projects, such as the implementation of one of the first international logistics hubs in Europe, supply chain sharing, the development of a logistics cooperation model with customers or the concept of business segmentation.

For his part, Wojciech Brzuska will continue to support the Greek company Raben Intertrans in gaining market position and achieving operational excellence, and will additionally be responsible for further business development and expansion of Raben Group in Europe.

We want to thank all four of them for their contribution and commitment to the company over the years and wish them success in their important new roles.
