RADWAG Wagi Elektroniczne is a recognised leader in the electronic weighing market in Poland and one of the most powerful players in the global measuring technology market. Its journey is a story of transformation: from ceramic kitchen scales to nanotechnology, in which high-quality logistics provided by its partner - Raben East - played a key role.
From ceramics to nanotechnology in 40 years
It all began in the 1980s with simple but recognizable spring kitchen scales decorated with Włocławek-style faience patterns. Next came mechanical scales for letters, created for the Polish Post Office. But the real breakthrough came with the transition to high-tech mass measurement.
Today, RADWAG is proud to present the world's first automatic nano-comparator NANO.AK-4/500.5Y, which provides weighing accuracy to the eighth decimal place. This is not only a technological achievement, but also the result of the work of a team of over 400 specialists, from engineers to scientists.
‘Everything we do, we do for our customers. We strive to provide them not only with devices, but also with ready-made measurement solutions, and above all, certainty regarding measurement precision, which is the basis for reliable research, production, and development.’ - says Witold Lewandowski, CEO, owner and founder of RADWAG.
Given the strategic importance of the Eastern market, especially Türkiye, RADWAG is actively developing its presence in this region. This is where one of the company's largest business partners is located, which significantly affects the company's sales and overall growth.
Successful coverage of this area has been made possible by Raben East, a reliable logistics service provider that ensures efficient international transport. The cooperation between Raben East and RADWAG has been going on for more than 4 years.
‘Our partnership with Raben East is an example of synergy, where technology is combined with reliable logistics. Thanks to their support, we have been able to optimize delivery times, reduce costs and, most importantly, improve service for our customers. Logistics is not just transport – it is an element that has a real impact on how a company is perceived,’ adds Katarzyna Mróz-Bodziony, Logistics Manager at RADWAG.
‘Working with Eastern markets requires a deep understanding of local regulatory requirements, infrastructure and other nuances,’ - adds Zofia Wisniewska, Customer Service Manager at Raben East. ’Our experience helps us to navigate these issues effectively, which sets us apart from others and allows us to provide our customers with seamless transport solutions. RADWAG is not just a customer, it is an example of Polish engineering excellence. We are honoured to be part of their journey to technological leadership. We are focused on ensuring that our logistics solutions help them grow even faster.’
Raben East provides international road transport services, including regular groupage, partial and full truckload shipments to Eastern countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, Ukraine and Uzbekistan). The company's portfolio also includes customs agency services and consulting on transportation to Eastern markets. Distribution and consolidation of cargo is carried out using the Raben Group's groupage network throughout Europe.
Thanks to Raben East's flexible logistics approach and RADWAG's ambitions, today's partnership goes beyond standard supply. It is an example of long-term, reliable cooperation based on trust, common goals and strategic thinking.
