The second edition of Excellence Leaders at Raben Logistics Polska
The culture of continuous improvement has become a permanent part of Raben's operations. Better Every Day – this is a slogan that all employees implement every day. There are many elements of building a culture of improvement. One of them is the Excellence Leaders program. The second edition of the initiative developing both employees and processes at Raben is behind us.
Participants of the Excellence Leaders program are people who do not like to stand still. For them, the past year was full of various activities, such as: training, case studies, workshops, webinars and the opportunity to practically use the acquired knowledge during independently conducted initiatives.
What else characterizes the program's graduates? First of all, passion, commitment and the desire to constantly develop and improve. Przemysław Olender, Transport Dispatcher, mentions that "Excellence Leaders is like the first film about a hero who is just discovering his powers. It will certainly be a hit that will give rise to a whole series."
The path of our heroes, although it may seem full of twists and turns, led to success.
The second edition of the program was successfully completed by 25 students who passed the theoretical and practical part. Success would have been impossible without the determination, commitment, willingness to cooperate and enormous openness of the participants. The mentioned initiatives conducted by Leaders concerned real business needs.
Dorota Tończyk, Customer Service Process Expert, talks about her participation in the program as follows: "...Excellence Leaders helped me systematize my knowledge in the area of introducing changes in processes and systems. I learned new tools for conducting projects and workshops here". During the completion of Excellence Leaders II, which took place on January 23, 2024, she shared her conclusions: "I developed the ability to engage colleagues in solving problems. Working in groups taught me to look at a given situation from different perspectives. I had the opportunity to practice and improve the art of presentation and self-presentation many times, which will undoubtedly translate into the level of training and meetings conducted. I have already had the opportunity to use all these elements in practice, which improved the quality of the tasks performed and my own satisfaction. What is important to me is the sense of self-confidence that I gained in the EL program - which allows for greater comfort at work. And personal contact with participants from other branches and departments, joint exercises and tasks will probably facilitate cooperation in subsequent projects or everyday work."
Karolina Lechsztef, Customer Service Specialist, sums up her participation in Excellence Leaders as "a wonderful and unforgettable experience and a huge opportunity for development! By participating in the program, we can show our strengths and at the same time work on and improve our weaker ones. Great people and great initiative!”
For Excellence Leaders graduates, the adventure with improvement does not end. It's really just starting now.
The organization will soon launch the third edition of the program. Thanks to this, further employees of Raben Logistics Polska will join the Leaders community to spread their wings under the supervision of the Raben Logistics Polska Business Improvement Team.
