Raben Group, which invests on both sides of the Oder River, has become the Platinum Partner of the Anniversary Year of the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce AHK Polska. The final event of the celebrations was the AHK Polska Summer Evening in the Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw, where Raben Group was represented by Andrzej Siess, Łukasz Lubański, Łukasz Michałowski and Szymon Pietrzak.
It is well known that Germany is an export-oriented country. Thanks to its dynamic development, huge investments and stable labour market, Poland is currently the fifth German partner worldwide in terms of trade turnover. The success is all the more spectacular because within the last 4 years the Polish economy has risen from the seventh position and overtaken Italy and the United Kingdom.
This influences the huge interest of German and Polish companies in investing in both markets. Poland has shares in German companies worth PLN 27 billion (EUR 6 billion), while German direct investment in Poland recently amounted to PLN 164 billion (EUR 36 billion).
This situation is largely the success of AHK Poland. The Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, based in Warsaw, is the largest bilateral chamber in Poland. It represents the interests of more than 1,000 member companies and has been supporting Polish-German economic relations for more than 25 years. The Chamber has a network of thriving regional offices in Katowice, Wrocław, Poznań and Gdańsk.
