Raben promotes road safety with the Motoadvisor

2019.11.25
Can I drive without side mirrors? How to couple a trailer to a tractor? How long does it take to get a ready truck for loading? You will find answers to these questions by watching the latest episode of the Motoadvisor who tests the new Mercedes Actros together with Sebastian, a Raben Group driver, and promotes the campaign for road safety “Don't be wild”.

The action is based on the so-called influencer marketing, i.e. using the image of well-known people to promote brands or, as in this case, a social campaign. This time Raben Group invited to cooperation the most popular automotive influencer in Poland - the Motoadvisor and his long-standing business partner -  Mercedes-Benz Truck Warszawa. The main objective of the project is to promote road safety, including the www.niebadzdziki.pl platform, and to show the work of a truck driver and review the new Actros.

Every day over 4.5 thousand of our drivers set off on Polish roads. We want to be sure that they reach their destination safely at the end of the day, regardless of whether it is a delivery to the farthest corner of the Earth or the way back home. We also feel responsible for other road users. That is why we equip our drivers with modern and safe driving tools, as well as we have launched an interactive educational platform for road safety, niebadzdziki.pl, which we are now promoting together with the Motoadvisor and our drivers – explains Klaudyna Polanowska-Skrzypek, PR Manager, Raben Group.

The cooperation with the Motoadvisor includes the promotion in the influencer's in social media channels (facebook, instagram) and a dedicated program on YouTube. In the influencer’s program, which can be found on the YouTube channel, the hosts reviewed the new Actros with the MirrorCam camera instead of mirrors and the blind spot assistant, which has been a part of Raben fleet since the beginning of October. Sebastian also introduced the Motoadvisor to the “Don't be wild” training applicationt, which is obligatory for all Raben Group drivers.

"I was very happy when Raben Group offered me the opportunity to work with them. After all, it's fulfilment of every big boy's dream - a ride in a huge truck (for which I have a driving licence of course). What's more, driving the new Actros itself is a real pleasure, thanks, among other things, to technological innovations which improve safety and help the driver to reach his destination. I’m glad that logistics companies aim not only at image advertisements but also at campaigns increasing road safety - such as the “Don't be wild” project by Raben Group, which was also included in my film. This proves the high maturity and awareness of the business. I wish I could participate in such campaigns every day. See you on the road fellow drivers!” - this is how the Motoadvisor summarised the whole joint project.

Additionally, the Motoadvisor, who naurally has a driving licence for C and C+E categories, had the opportunity to test his skills in practice and for the first time hook a semi-trailer to a tractor and get a truck ready for loading in a depot of Raben Group in Chlebnia. The results of his struggle can be seen in the latest episode of the Motoadvisor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FSdL4cqH2A

Raben Group already has experience in cooperation with influencers. As part of its #RabenExpress campaign, it cooperated with Tasteaway, Dr. Lifestyle or Rafał Gębura from 7 meters underground program. The #RabenExpress project received the Bronze Clip in the Corporate PR category. The company also worked with Magic of Y to promote international connections, and soon you will hear about another company project promoting the healthy lifestyle. All activities with influencers are carried out by Raben Group in cooperation with the Good For You agency.

“If someone had told me 3 years ago that I would be working with a logistics company and we would be winning the most important prizes for influencer actions, I would not have believed it. And here you go. It's possible! Even in such a difficult sector as logistics it is possible to accomplish an innovative, creative and unconventional project. It is possible thanks to courageous people I work with in Raben Group on a daily basis. Thank you very much.  And I can't wait to see what the next years of cooperation will bring -  laughs Wojtek Kardyś from the Good For You agency.
