Zero-emission Białystok

At the end of July 2024, the Raben Logistics Polska branch in Białystok moved from Choroszcz to a new facility in nearby Żółtki, occupying 7,000 m2 of warehouse and office space. Importantly, the new warehouse is a zero-emission facility.

The 6,000 m2 cross-dock warehouse, adapted to transshipment needs, is equipped with 55 ramps for servicing trucks and extensive maneuvering areas and outdoor areas intended for Raben's use, which allows for comfortable operations.

"The new facility is a response to the needs of our customers. I hope that they will feel the positive aspects of this change very quickly. After all, it is for them and with them that we want to continue to develop. At the same time, I would like to thank everyone who made the move quick and efficient, without disruptions to operations," comments Michał Piętkowski, Regional Director of Raben Logistics Polska.

A modern facility that meets the high standards of not only Raben, but also the company's customers, is a zero-emission warehouse. This means, among other things, very low energy consumption, entirely covered by energy from renewable sources. In turn, the operation of such a building takes place without local carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels.

"We are very happy that we were able to move to a new and zero-emission facility. I am sure that, apart from the undeniable ecological effect of this move, our employees, carriers and drivers will enjoy greater work comfort and will perform transport and transshipment services with even greater commitment," sums up Cezary Zubowicz, Branch Manager of Raben Logistics Polska in Białystok.
