Transportation restrictions in Cracow during "World Youth Day"

According to the information from the Office for Promotion of WYD and the Management of Communal and Transport Infrastructure, the following difficulties may be expected:1) from 20.07.2017, significant limitations will appear in accessing Cracow and the neighbouring area; traffic problems are likely to appear on the route Katowice - Krakow - Tarnów / Rzeszów.2) Ban on entering Krakow city limits on 26.07.2016 and 01.08.2016 from 10:00 to 24:00. Due to the ban on entering Cracow city limits from 25.07.2016 till 01.08.2016, execution of deliveries and pick-ups will be impossible. Shipments delivered in Małopolska from 25.07.2016 till 01.08.2016 will be charged a surcharge.High traffic volume and transport problems will cause that rendering services from the week preceding the event until the week following it will be highly difficult. We estimate that the time of deliveries and pick-ups in this area will extend approximately 24 hours. With this in view, we kindly ask you, if possible, to plan shipments to Małopolska, Silesia and Podkarpacie in advance.Due to the Ordinance of the Voivods of Silesia and Małopolska District concerning traffic restrictions during World Youth Day:

• On 27.07-01.08.2016 in the designated area of Małopołska, shipments with ADR dangerous goods will not be serviced. The area covers the regions serviced at that time by the Cholerzyn branch. • On 28.07.2016 pick-up and deliveries will not be possible in the area of the city of Częstochowa.
• On 28.07.2016  – in the area of Silesia serviced by the Częstochowa branch, pick-ups and deliveries of shipments with ADR dangerous goods will not be possible
