Raben Transport Honored with ESG Eagles Award

2026.04.27

Raben Transport Sp. z o.o. has been named among the winners of the prestigious ESG Eagles competition, organized by the Rzeczpospolita daily. The distinction confirms the company’s consistent approach to implementing its ESG strategy, which includes fleet decarbonization, employee competency development, and operational safety.

“This is an important confirmation for us that the actions we are taking in the field of sustainable logistics are delivering real results. We are consistently developing solutions that help reduce the environmental impact of transport while maintaining high quality and operational efficiency. We see that a responsible approach to logistics is becoming one of the key elements in building a competitive advantage today,” says Piotr Banasiak, CEO of Raben Transport.

For years, Raben Transport has been systematically developing solutions to reduce emissions in road transport. The company was one of the first logistics firms in Poland to implement HVO100 biofuel in operational practice. Currently, dozens of vehicles use this solution, and its share in the fleet is steadily increasing. At the same time, the company is investing in its own infrastructure—HVO100 refueling stations in Gądki and Gliwice—which enables further development of low-emission transport services. By 2030, Raben Transport plans for 75% of its fleet to be powered by alternative fuels, thereby supporting its customers in achieving their climate goals.

Another pillar of the ESG strategy is fleet electrification. Since autumn 2022, Raben Transport has been carrying out transport operations using electric trucks powered by renewable energy sources. Currently, 7 such vehicles are in daily operation, supporting transport within the company’s low-emission logistics strategy. These efforts also bring measurable business benefits, enabling long-term contracts and strengthening the company’s market position.

An important element of Raben Transport’s ESG activities is also the development of employee competencies, particularly among drivers. The company uses advanced VR simulators that allow teams to train in a realistic virtual environment, improving eco-driving techniques and enhancing safety and work efficiency. By the end of 2025, 242 drivers—over 85% of the team—had been trained in this way, raising qualifications and improving the attractiveness of the profession. In addition, the Raben Transport branch in Gniewomierz received the Truckers Friendly Place certificate, confirming high standards of infrastructure and working conditions for drivers.

The competition organizers emphasize that the transition toward a low-emission economy and sustainable practices will be crucial for the entire transport and logistics sector in the coming years. The distinction awarded to Raben Transport proves that the company not only follows global responsible business trends but also actively supports the development of a more environmentally friendly supply chain.

The awards ceremony took place on April 23 during the European Economic Congress 2026 in Katowice—one of the most important economic events in Central and Eastern Europe. The award was received on behalf of the company by Robert Dumanow.

By implementing innovative and sustainable transport solutions, Raben Transport confirms its position as a leader in the FTL sector, while taking care of the environment, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
