Raben Group joined the circle of partners of the Responsible Business Forum together with Chiesi Poland, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne, thanks to which there are now almost 60 companies bearing that title. Raben believes that it is an important link in the value chain of its customers and business partners and similarly being a partner of the Responsible Business Forum, it will add value to its activities.
“I hope that we will be able to carry out interesting projects together with other members, which will strengthen the awareness of the importance of sustainable development in our society. I believe that by shaping appropriate habits among consumers, by actively helping them become prosumers, we will achieve a balance on our planet faster and easier.” - said Jakub Krzewina, CSR and Internal Communications Manager in Raben Group, who accepted a symbolic diploma from representatives of the Responsible Business Forum during the ceremony on March 28.
The extension of the partnership program of the Responsible Business Forum was combined with the première of the Report “Responsible Business in Poland 2018. Good practices.” The largest review of CSR activities in our country was published for the 17th time, and each subsequent edition is more extensive than the previous one. The latest one, the number of listed companies and the number of described practices is 30% higher as compared to the summary of 2017.
Although Raben Group only now became a partner of the Responsible Business Forum, it has been present on the pages of the publication for a long time. The Group made the début in the 2010 report - modestly, with only one practice. However, the number of projects - interesting, effective, worth imitating, which should be shared - has been growing systematically and so the current edition contains 16 good practices by Raben Group. The biggest number can be found in the section “Work-related practices”, but the company also contributed to the sections devoted to “Corporate governance”, “Environment” and “Social engagement and development of local communities”.
“I feel great satisfaction, because every year we submit the same long-term practices, and in each subsequent edition we add new ones and we can pride ourselves on the growing number of them listed in the Report. However, the most important thing is that the vast majority of our practices after the première become permanent, as long-term practices.” - emphasized Jakub Krzewina.
Such projects include cooperation with Food Banks and the campaign “Transport is needed” (Social engagement and development of local communities), program for customers “E-invoice=higher culture” (Environment), employee volunteer actions “Show your initiative”, Healthy Week or “Dances with pallets” contest which raises awareness of health and safety issues (Work-related practices). They have a long tradition in the company as well as in the Report by the Responsible Business Forum - some of them were included in the publication summarizing the year 2013.
