Raben Group acquires Rhenus logistics location Fellbach

"With the acquisition in Baden-Württemberg, we are strengthening our services in southern Germany. We want to successfully maintain and expand the existing partnerships with Customers by relying on the quality and expertise of the dedicated employees at the site," said Ewald Raben, CEO Raben Group.

The existing Customers of Rhenus Freight Logistics, which will also be taken over in Fellbach and Weilimdorf, are mainly from the automotive industry, the retail trade and the health-care industry.

The Fellbach location specializes in domestic groupage distribution and already before the purchase was a partner of Raben Trans European network. The logistics location in Fellbach has two logistics centers, including a cross-docking area and it employs more than 200 persons.
