Raben extends its activity to the Greek market

At the beginning of October 2021, the leading Greek logistics provider, Intertrans S.A., became a part of Raben Group. Thanks to the transaction, Raben enriches the map of its branches and is now present in 14 countries.

 

 

The acquisition is intended to strengthen the position of both companies not only on Greek but, above all, on the European and global market. Expanding the product portfolio and boosting the operational excellence to increase customer satisfaction are strategic goals pursued by both organizations.

With 40 years of experience in the field of European road transportation, Intertrans has been consistently following the road of reliability and mutual trust with its associates and customers. In 1981, the company as a forwarding agent began its activities in the field of imports and exports, offering certified quality, timeliness and speed, as well as absolute confidence and safety during every step of every task undertaken. The European transport network of Intertrans covers 12 countries and consists of a total of 23 hubs and 17 correspondents throughout Europe. The Greek company has at its disposal 11 000 m2 of warehouse capacity, more than 90 trucks and employs  70 people. Company headquarters is located in Piraeus, near Athens, and the other two branches are in Thessaloniki and Heraklion, Crete Island.
