Raben and Kärcher

On 20 September 2023, Raben Logistics Polska and Kärcher solemnly celebrated the opening of a new, dedicated warehouse space in Chlebnia. Operations for this customer will be carried out on 8,000 m². Both companies are united by a sustainable approach to doing business and the family roots of their enterprises. The symbolic ribbon cutting was attended by, among others, Ewald Raben - CEO of Raben Group, Dieter Grajer - Member of the Board of Management, Chief Operating Officer, Kärcher and Lilia Sedlar - Regional President Eastern Europe, Kärcher.

Kärcher started cooperation with Raben Logistics Polska in 2022. The main point of cooperation is international transport towards Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia as well as transport around Poland. With the launch of the warehouse, the service portfolio will expand to include storage and related services. In addition to the standard process, Raben also offers the customer many new solutions that optimize the handling of the customer's goods.

Raben Logistics Polska currently has approximately 560,000 m² of warehouse space. Every year, investing in new facilities and modernizing older ones, the company focuses on energy efficiency. Its facilities include solutions such as: LED lighting and automatic lighting control systems (through motion detection and measurement of the amount of daylight) combined with skylights providing access to natural light; gas heating based on radiators with increased radiation efficiency; thermal insulation of hydraulic ramp platforms; mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, as well as power generators covering 100% of the electricity demand.

Additionally, as a socially responsible company, Raben takes a number of actions to meet climate challenges in the long term. In addition to using a number of ecological solutions in warehouses in terms of saving natural resources or purchasing green energy, rolling stock is also systematically replaced to meet the latest requirements in terms of greenhouse gas emissions.
