The new service operates according to a simple and predictable scheme: on day A, shipments are collected from all locations in Poland, and on day C, they are delivered to recipients throughout Slovakia. The company focuses on a flexible approach to customers, providing transport services starting from a single pallet. A controlled temperature of +2°C to +7°C is maintained throughout the entire supply chain, and product safety is confirmed by IFS certification. Fresh Logistics has prepared a dedicated offer for suppliers of the Biedronka chain in Slovakia (JMS Voderady), drawing on its many years of experience and know-how in serving large retail chains.
Regular shipments of fresh food require a well-thought-out logistics system that ensures stable and predictable deliveries. Our food is attractive to Slovaks because it is simply good. The last decade has seen enormous changes in the Polish food processing industry – ten years ago, we were importing highly processed food from the West, but today Polish companies have modern technologies at their disposal and produce products that not only match Western ones, but often surpass them. We have competitive products that we want to sell, and Slovaks want to buy them. Daily connections from Poland to Slovakia are our response to these needs and proof of our flexibility," emphasizes Antoni Zbytniewski, Director of International Distribution at Fresh Logistics Polska.
The Slovak food market is growing fast, and consumers are increasingly choosing Polish products. According to WP Finanse [1], Polish pierogi have become a real hit in Slovak stores, and Fresh Logistics, in addition to industries such as dairy, meat products, and fish, also handles the transport of ready-made meals, which are growing in popularity. According to GUS [2], in 2024, agri-food exports from Poland to Slovakia amounted to just over EUR 1 billion. The Slovak market mainly imports meat and fish, processed foods, bread, and milk products.
Fresh Logistics Polska has been operating on the market since 2002, has a network of eight branches and a modern fleet of over 550 vehicles with online temperature monitoring systems. The company is consistently expanding its network of international temperature-controlled connections, responding to the growing needs of customers in terms of speed, quality, and safety of deliveries. The new service is another step towards developing cross-border distribution and strengthening Fresh Logistics' position as a leader in fresh produce logistics in Europe.
