“The depot in Kielce was created in response to the growing needs of our customers. The location in Starachowice, although we were quite attached to it, didn’t meet all the requirements of our service recipients.” - comments Adam Grzegolec, Depot Manager, Raben Logistics Polska, Kielce, and he adds - “The important thing for us was infrastructure tailored to our needs.”
When deciding on the new location, the strategic location of the depot and the favourable policy of the local authorities were also taken into account. The Kielce depot serves customers from the Świętokrzyskie, Mazowieckie and Łódzkie voivodeships.
In the new facility, the company is able to service 1,200 shipments daily and pick up, reload and deliver about 2,500 pallets. Additionally, the new location has an office building with the usable area of 900 m2 and a parking facility for 35 cars and 41 trucks. At present Kielce employs 44 people in the office and the warehouse and the depot cooperates with approx. 80 drivers.
Kielce is a modern and ecological facility. The used solutions allow for limiting the consumption of electricity, gas and water. For instance, the warehouses are equipped with LED lighting and the roof lights allow for continuous access of natural light. They also have modern gas radiators used for heating. This allows for increasing the level of fire safety.
“Thanks to such investments, not only our company develops, but also the companies of our customers, who can enjoy our services at an even higher level" - sums up Adam Grzegolec.
