Raben Group triumphs in Transport Innovator 2024 competition

On June 11, 2024 in Lodz, Poland, during the Transport Innovations Day conference, organized by the editors of Transport Manager magazine, awards were given in the "Transport Innovator" competition. Raben Group-owned companies i.e. Raben Transport and Fresh Logistics Polska took the honorable first place in the categories "Development of Human Competencies" and "Digitalization of Processes".

Logistics Manager magazine for the first time organized the "Transport Innovator" competition, which aims to promote innovative solutions in the transport, forwarding and logistics industry. The competition culminated in the presentation of "Transport Innovator" statuettes at the Innovators' Banquet.

The poll evaluated submissions in three categories: Ecology and Sustainability, Human Competence Development and Process Digitization. Two of them proved victorious for Raben Group companies.

In the "Human Competency Development" category, the award went to Raben Transport for its innovative VR Truck Simulator project. This is an advanced VR simulator that allows drivers to improve their skills in a virtual environment. This innovative system significantly improves the quality of training and preparation for work in real conditions. Thanks to its design and software, it perfectly reflects the conditions of truck driving, and since it is mobile, it can be used at various company branches throughout Europe.

On the other hand, in the "Digitalization of processes" category, Fresh Logistics Polska came in first place for its Elcar Radar project. Raben Group's company dealing with temperature-controlled transportation and warehousing, in cooperation with Elcar, a technology manufacturer for the logistics industry, installed an innovative system for controlling and improving the safety of loading ramps. This is an innovative system that monitors and analyzes the movement of vehicles, which optimizes the loading process and improves employee safety. Thanks to this technology, Fresh Logistics better manages time and resources, resulting in higher quality customer service.
