Due to the growing demand for fast, reliable and price competitive transport services, Raben Polska is launching new direct groupage connections in cooperation with Raben companies in the Baltic states.
Starting from September 2014, daily groupage transports will connect Grodzisk Mazowiecki near Warsaw and Białystok with Kaunas, Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn. Thanks to the new solution, Raben Group Customers from Mazovia and Podlaskie Voivodships will be able to use the new service - delivery of groupage shipments in the Baltic countries in 24h. For all other regions the transport is executed in the standard time (48h). "Thanks to the new groupage connections, Polish companies which cooperate with customers in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia will be able to build up their competitive advantage, which has always been an important element of the Raben Group's Mission" – stresses Sylwia Maciejewska, International Distribution Director of Raben Group. In May this year Raben Group in the Baltic states celebrated the 10th anniversary of operations. Currently the five branches in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia employ 80 people. At the end of 2013 the Group reached the total revenue of EUR 8.5m, which is 43 times higher compared to 2004. Warehouse capacity of Raben Group in these countries grew from 1785 m2 in 2009 to 3500 m2 in March 2014.
